out again...

Here we sit... power was lost to us at around 4:00 pm yesterday and there are many, many trees down in our area. The clean up begins, though there was no damage to our home or to any loved ones. We are incredibly lucky. Barnes and Noble has become a bit of an internet refuge today. We would actually have Internet, even though we are without power, but the cable towers have also run out of power. It's a bit of a bummer that we can't be in our home, but last night felt so wonderful even despite our lack of connection to the grid. We even commented that it didn't really feel like we were out... I'm back to work tomorrow as the town in which I work was decidedly unscathed in this storm. We find ourselves looking at pictures of the damage in NY, NJ and along our own beautiful CT coast with much sadness. Hopefully you are well and warm and safe as we are.
