Quilt Credits (Me Plus You, Strips and Bricks, Sixth Time's The Charm) at Flickr
I have a stack of research papers staring at me. They have been mocking me for the last three weeks. Sometimes they sit unloved and uncorrected in my car at night. They've followed me into meetings, through movies and there's a bit of coffee spilled on one of them (I'm turning into my sister). I've tried to finish five of them a day... sometimes that happened. At half an hour each to correct (and check for plagiarism) and sixty papers... well you do the math.
The end of the school year is threatening (how I love that...) and I'm literally running out of time that I need to finish things at work... I should be finishing that pile of papers. Really. Yet, all I can think about are those quilts (my own versions are in the works) and this set of flickr tools which allowed me to make that pretty lovely mosaic. So I sit here, pen was poised before I dropped it (willingly) to write this here post. I'd call this a procrastination post if it wasn't so full of inspiration, so I'll call it a bit of a distracted post, and a look forward to things to come (free time, sewing in the middle of the day, possibly assigning research papers earlier in the year)... things I'm so looking forward to.
