Happy Easter-Passover-Equinox-Spring to you all, I hope that this day finds you celebrating all the joys of the season. Here we're not just into bunnies and eggs today but are also celebrating the greens that are quite literally sprouting up around us and the return of baseball... how we've missed you.
I added a bit of the Martha Negley Tree Rings in yellow print above to my stash this week. I'm going to make some draft stoppers, though I've seen them called draft snakes or draft catchers... interesting. I'm totally loving this flickr tutorial by Not Martha... and her fabric choice. Not loving this one that is literally in the shape of a snake, however... just not my style. Anyway, the fabric arrived, and I'm in love. The tree rings are really lovely, and there are bits of berries, small flowers and sticks scattered throughout also... very cool... almost too pretty to be a draft stopper, but oh so necessary. I can't wait for them to become part of our home.
